The CEI-YO is pleased to inform you that you have been selected to take part in the Central European Initiative Youth Orchestra. On behalf of the Artistic Director of the CEI – YO we wish to invite you to the two rehearsing periods and concerts of the CEI YO.
The next rehearsing period will take place from 2nd - 22th July 2006!!!
All participants are to arrive at the Terme Olimia in Podčetrtek, Slovenia, on 2 July from 5pm to 7pm. Please find below the address of the Aparthotel Rosa**** and the telephone number for urgent calls only !

Parents are not to ring their children during rehearsal hours.

Read the following information carefully. It will help you understand what your stay will be like, organise your journey and pack your most suitable clothes!
Young boy-musicians must always have a smart suit (black or dark blue blazer and trousers) and white shirts and matching shoes to wear at the concerts (9),. You also have to bring a bow-tie and a grey tie with you!!!
As for the young girl-musicians, they are to bring a long dress or blouse and long skirt (black or dark blue) with matching shoes.

You have to bring your music stand and remember to stick a label on it so that you can recognise it at the end of the course!

EXTRA INFORMATION:

All Strings: Do not forget your sordino !!!
Celli: Do not forget your support (a belt or anything else) for your cello stick!!!
Double-bass: You do not need to bring your own instrument, but only your bow!!!
Clarinets: you are to bring your clarinets (in B and in A !!!)

You should bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes, waterproof jacket, summer clothes, t-shirts, jeans, , and flip-flops for the shower. Towels, sheets and blankets will be provided by the Aparthotel ROSA in Podčetrtek as well as by the other Hotels during our concert tour in S. Pietro al Natisone (one overnight, on 14), in Postojna (four overnights from 15 untill 18 July) and in Sarajevo (three overnights, on 19, 20 and 21 July). Bring a beach towel and swimming costume in case we go to the swimming pools...

Do not forget, your personal document valid for travelling abroad!

If you are coming by our (rented) BUS, follow these instructions:
Our rented coach travelling on 2 July ’06, from LJUBLJANA to Podčetrtek is going to take on board the participants coming to Ljubljana by train and plane.
Start from LJUBLJANA (from the Central bus and railway station) at ca. 4.30 pm.

!!! Please let us know how and when you are coming to Podčetrtek or to Ljubljana!!!

If you are travelling by car, the Terme Olimia in Pdčetrtek is near Celje (ca. 30 km awy from) well indicated on the motor-way LJUBLJANA – MARIBOR (exit: Dramlje, Rogaška Slatina, Podčetrtek) or when travelling from MARIBOR (exit: Slovenske Konjice - zahod, then via Poljcane to Podčetrtek.

IMPOTANT INFORMATION:

On 22nd July (End of the Summer Tour), our two busses (coming back from Sarajevo) will arrive in Ljubljana (Central bus and railway station) in the late afternoon, at ca. 5.00 p.m.
